أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ أَخِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:

أَرَادَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْ سِقَاءٍ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّهُ مَيْتَةٌ قَالَ: دِبَاغُهُ يَذْهَبُ بِخَبَثِهِ أَوْ نَجَسِهِ أَوْ رِجْسِهِ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ wanted to perform ablution from a waterskin, and it was said to him, "It is from a dead animal." He said, "Its tanning removes its impurity, or filth, or defilement."
