حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبَّادٌ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّادٍ الْمُهَلَّبِيَّ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ أَيْضًا، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفَزَارِيُّ يَعْنِي مَرْوَانَ بْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، يَعْنِي الْأَحْوَلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ، فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاتَهُ قَالَ: يَا فُلَانُ، أَيَّتُهُمَا صَلَاتُكَ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ مَعَنَا أَوِ الَّتِي صَلَّيْتَ لِنَفْسِكَ ؟

✧ A man came while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the Subh prayer, and he prayed two rak'ahs. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer he said, "O so-and-so, which of the two is your prayer: the one you prayed with us or the one you prayed for yourself?"
