✧ I fell ill, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to visit me, and Abu Bakr, both walking. He found me unconscious, so he performed ablution and poured the water on me, and I regained consciousness. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what shall I do with my wealth? How shall I dispose of my wealth?" He did not answer me at all until the verse of inheritance was revealed: "If a man dies having no child, but has a sister, she shall receive half of what he leaves" (4:176), and he said once: until the verse of kalalah was revealed.
