أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، وَيَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، قَالُوا: قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَزْرَةَ وَهُوَ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ قَالَ:
كُنَّا عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَجِيءَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَامَ الْقَاسِمُ يُصَلِّي، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: لَا يُصَلَّى [صَلَاةٌ] بِحَضْرَةِ الطَّعَامِ، وَلَا وَهُوَ يُدَافِعُهُ الْأَخْبَثَانِ

✧ We were with ʿĀʾishah when food was brought. Al-Qāsim stood up to pray, and ʿĀʾishah said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ‘No prayer should be performed in the presence of food, nor while he is resisting the two impure things (urine and feces).’”
