✧ We prayed the morning prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: While he was in prayer, he stretched out his hand, then withdrew it. When he finished the prayer, we said: O Messenger of Allah, you did in this prayer of yours what you did not do in any previous prayer. He said: I saw Paradise displayed before me, and I saw in it a grapevine whose clusters were near, its berries like gourds. I wanted to take from it, but it was revealed to it to withdraw, and it withdrew. Then the Fire was displayed to me, between me and you, until I saw my shadow and your shadows. I gestured to you to move back, but it was revealed to me to settle them, for you have submitted and they have submitted, you have emigrated and they have emigrated, you have striven and they have striven. I saw no virtue for me over you except prophethood.
