The Helpers and those with them
[ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ ] وَمِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: مُبَشِّرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ زَنْبَرِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، وَرِفَاعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ زَنْبَرٍ، وَسَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ: وَعُوَيْمُ بْنُ سَاعِدَةَ، وَرَافِعُ بْنُ عُنْجُدَةَ - وَعُنْجُدَةُ أُمُّهُ، فِيمَا قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ - وَعُبَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، وَثَعْلَبَةُ بْنُ حَاطِبٍ. وَزَعَمُوا أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ، وَالْحَارِثَ بْنَ حَاطِبٍ خَرَجَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَجَّعَهُمَا، وَأَمَّرَ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَضَرَبَ لَهُمَا بِسَهْمَيْنِ مَعَ أَصْحَابِ بَدْرٍ. تِسْعَةُ نَفَرٍ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: رَدَّهُمَا مِنْ الرَّوْحَاءِ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: وَحَاطِبُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ وَاسْمُ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ: بَشِيرٌ
Translation
✧ From the Banū Umayyah [b. Zayd b. Mālik]: Mubashshir b. ʿAbd al-Mundhir b. Zanbar b. Zayd b. Umayyah, Rifāʿah b. ʿAbd al-Mundhir b. Zanbar, Saʿd b. ʿUbayd b. al-Nuʿmān b. Qays b. ʿAmr b. Zayd b. Umayyah, ʿUwaym b. Sāʿidah, Rāfiʿ b. ʿUnjudah—and ʿUnjudah was his mother, according to what Ibn Hishām said—and ʿUbayd b. Abī ʿUbayd, and Thaʿlabah b. Ḥāṭib. They claimed that Abū Lubābah b. ʿAbd al-Mundhir and al-Ḥārith b. Ḥāṭib went out with the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he sent them back, appointing Abū Lubābah over Madinah, and he allotted for them two shares along with the people of Badr. Nine persons. Ibn Hishām said: He sent them back from al-Rawḥāʾ. Ibn Hishām said: And Ḥāṭib b. ʿAmr b. ʿUbayd b. Umayyah; and the name of Abū Lubābah was Bashīr.
