Translation
✧ Mention of the final outcome of the Persians' affair in Yemen [The Dominion of the Abyssinians in Yemen and Their Kings] Ibn Isḥāq said: Wahriz and the Persians remained in Yemen, and from the remnant of that army of the Persians are the Abnāʾ who are in Yemen today. The dominion of the Abyssinians in Yemen, from the time Aryāṭ entered it until the Persians killed Masrūq b. Abrahah and the Abyssinians were expelled, lasted seventy-two years. Four of them inherited it in succession: Aryāṭ, then Abrahah, then Yaksūm b. Abrahah, then Masrūq b. Abrahah.
