The killing of the Bajalīs and the Messenger's exemplary punishment of them

Translation

✧ [The killing of the Bajalīs and the Messenger's exemplary punishment of them] When they became healthy and their bellies became lean, they attacked the herdsman of the Messenger of God ﷺ, Yasār, slaughtered him, stuck thorns into his eyes, and drove off the milch-camels. The Messenger of God ﷺ sent Kurz b. Jābir in pursuit of them, and he overtook them and brought them to the Messenger of God ﷺ upon his return from the expedition of Dhū Qarad. Then he cut off their hands and feet and put out their eyes.
