The martyrs of Khaybar from Banū Umayyah
[ شُهَدَاءُ خَيْبَرَ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَهَذِهِ تَسْمِيَةُ مَنْ اُسْتُشْهِدَ بِخَيْبَرِ مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ، مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ شَمْسٍ، ثُمَّ مِنْ حَلْفَائِهِمْ: رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ أَكْثَمَ بْنِ سَخْبَرَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ غَنْمِ بْنِ دُودَانَ بْنِ أَسَدٍ؛ وَثَقِيفُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، وَرِفَاعَةُ بْنُ مَسْرُوحٍ. [ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ ] وَمِنْ بَنِي أَسَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى: عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْهُبَيْبِ، وَيُقَالُ: ابْنُ الْهَبِيبِ، فِيمَا قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ، ابْنُ أُهَيْبِ بْنِ سُحَيْمِ بْنِ غِيرَةَ، مِنْ بَنِي سَعْدِ بْنِ لَيْثٍ، حَلِيفٌ لِبَنِي أَسَدٍ، وَابْنُ أُخْتِهِمْ
Translation
✧ [The Martyrs of Khaybar from the Banū Umayyah] Ibn Isḥāq said: This is the naming of those who were martyred at Khaybar among the Muslims, from Quraysh, then from the Banū Umayyah b. ʿAbd Shams, then from their allies: Rabīʿah b. Aktham b. Sakhbarah b. ʿAmr b. Bukayr b. ʿĀmir b. Ghanm b. Dūdān b. Asad; and Thaqīf b. ʿAmr, and Rifāʿah b. Masrūḥ. [From the Banū Asad] And from the Banū Asad b. ʿAbd al-ʿUzzā: ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Hubayb—and it is said: Ibn al-Habīb, according to what Ibn Hishām said—b. Uhayb b. Suḥaym b. Ghīrah, of the Banū Saʿd b. Layth, an ally of the Banū Asad, and the son of their sister.
