Sirat Ibn Hisham 1282
Those who witnessed the reconciliation
Translation
✧ [The Messenger sacrificed and shaved, and the people followed his example] Ibn Isḥāq said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was stationed in the ḥill, and he used to pray in the ḥaram. When he had finished the peace, he went to his sacrificial animals and slaughtered them. Then he sat and shaved his head. The one who shaved him, as far as has reached me, on that day was Khirāsh b. Umayyah b. al-Faḍl al-Khuzāʿī. When the people saw that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had sacrificed and shaved, they rushed to sacrifice and shave.
