Mention of the emigrants who were martyred at Uḥud
[ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرٍو من قتل يوم أحد ] وَمِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكِ: أَوْسُ بْنُ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ. رَجُلٌ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: أَوْسُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، أَخُو حَسَّانِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ [ مِنْ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ من قتل يوم أحد ] قَالَ ابْنُ إسْحَاقَ: وَمِنْ بَنِي عَدِيِّ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ: أَنَسُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ بْنِ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَرَامِ بْنِ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَامِرِ بْنِ غَنْمِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ. رَجُلٌ. قَالَ ابْنُ هِشَامٍ: أَنَسُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ، عَمُّ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: خَادِمُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ. [ مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنٍ من قتل يوم أحد ] وَمِنْ بَنِي مَازِنِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ: قَيْسُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ؛ وَكَيْسَانُ، عَبْدٌ لَهُمْ. رَجُلَانِ
Translation
✧ [From the Banū ʿAmr of those killed on the day of Uḥud] And from the Banū ʿAmr b. Mālik: Aws b. Thābit b. al-Mundhir. One man. Ibn Hishām said: Aws b. Thābit, brother of Ḥassān b. Thābit. [From the Banū ʿAdī of those killed on the day of Uḥud] Ibn Isḥāq said: And from the Banū ʿAdī b. al-Najjār: Anas b. al-Naḍr b. Ḍamḍam b. Zayd b. Ḥarām b. Jundub b. ʿĀmir b. Ghanm b. ʿAdī b. al-Najjār. One man. Ibn Hishām said: Anas b. al-Naḍr, paternal uncle of Anas b. Mālik: servant of the Messenger of God ﷺ. [From the Banū Māzin of those killed on the day of Uḥud] And from the Banū Māzin b. al-Najjār: Qays b. Makhlad; and Kaysān, a slave of theirs. Two men.
