Remove sins from the worshipper by virtue of the Chosen One, ﷺ .

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ بُدَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ دَوْسًا فَقَالَ إِنَّهُمْ فَذَكَرَ رِجَالَهُمْ وَنِسَاءَهُمْ فَرَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ هَلَكَتْ دَوْسٌ وَرَبِّ الْكَعْبَةِ فَرَفَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدَيْهِ وَقَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا»

✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned Daws, saying, "They have..." Then he mentioned their men and women. The Prophet ﷺ raised his hands, and the man said, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we return. Daws has perished, by the Lord of the Ka'bah!" The Prophet ﷺ raised his hands and said: "O Allah, guide Daws."
