Sahih Ibn Hibban 953

Remove sins from the worshipper by virtue of the Chosen One, ﷺ .

أَخْبَرَنَا السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُمَيْرُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُنَادَةَ بْنَ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«أَنَّ جِبْرِيلَ رَقَاهُ وَهُوَ يُوعَكُ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ وَاسْمُ () وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ»

✧ "Jibril recited a ruqyah over him while he was feverish, saying: In the name of Allah, I recite over you from every ailment that harms you, from every envious person when he envies, and from every eye, and [missing word] and Allah will heal you."
