✧ The Prayers

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ رُوَيْبَةَ

أَنَّهُ رَأَى بِشْرَ بْنَ مَرْوَانَ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «قَبَّحَ اللَّهُ هَاتَيْنِ الْيَدَيْنِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا يَزِيدُ عَلَى أَنْ يَقُولَ بِيَدِهِ كَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ للسّبْحَهِ»

✧ He saw Bishr b. Marwan raising his hands on the pulpit and said, "May Allah make these two hands ugly. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not going beyond saying with his hand like this, and he pointed with his index finger."
