أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَيْوَةُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى أَبِي اللَّحْمِ
أَنَّهُ «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْتَسْقِي عِنْدَ أَحْجَارِ الزَّيْتِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الزَّوْرَاءِ قَائِمًا يَدْعُو يَسْتَسْقِي رَافِعًا كَفَّيْهِ لَا يُجَاوِزُ بِهِمَا رَأْسَهُ مُقْبِلًا بِبَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ»

✧ He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying for rain near the oil stones, close to al-Zawra', standing in supplication, praying for rain, raising his palms, not raising them above his head, with the inner sides of his palms facing his face.
