✧ «The people of the Fire are five: the weak one who is not paid any heed, and he is among you as a follower; they do not seek family or wealth.» I said, “Will that be the case, O Abu ʿAbd Allāh?” He said, “Yes, by Allah, I saw them in the pre-Islamic era. A man would graze for the tribe and have nothing except their servant girl whom he would have intercourse with. And a man who does not wake up in the morning or reach the evening except that he is deceiving you about your family and your wealth. And a man from whom nothing is hidden except that he betrays it, even if it is small. And he mentioned lying. And he mentioned miserliness.”
