أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الرَّقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا {يَوْمَ تُبَدَّلُ الْأَرْضُ غَيْرَ الْأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ وَبَرَزُوا لِلَّهِ الْوَاحِدِ الْقَهَّارِ} أَيْنَ يَكُونُ النَّاسُ يَوْمَئِذٍ؟ قَالَ «عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ»

✧ I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about the words of Allah, Mighty and Exalted: ‘On the Day when the earth will be changed to another earth, and the heavens [as well], and they will come forth before Allah, the One, the Irresistible’ (Ibrahim 14:48)? Where will the people be on that Day?” He said: “On the Sirat.”
