✧ "When the Day of Resurrection comes, the sun will be brought near to the servants until it is the distance of a mile or two miles." Sulaym said: I do not know which of the two miles he meant: the distance of the earth or the mile used for applying kohl to the eye? He said: "The sun will melt them, and they will be in sweat according to the measure of their deeds. Among them is one whom it will reach to his heels, among them is one whom it will reach to his knees, among them is one whom it will reach to his waist, and among them is one whom it will bridle with a bridle." He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gesturing with his hand toward his mouth, saying, "It will bridle them with a bridle."
