أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ؟ » قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «دَارُ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ ثُمَّ دَارُ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ وَفِي كُلِّ دُورِ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ»

Translation

✧ "Shall I inform you of the best homes of the Ansar?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "The home of Banu al-Najjar, then the home of Banu ʿAbd al-Ashhal, then the home of Banu al-Harith b. al-Khazraj, then the home of Banu Saʿidah; and in every home of the Ansar there is good."
