أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حِبَّانُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُوقَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ خَطَبَ بِالْجَابِيَةِ فَقَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَقَامِي فِيكُمْ فَقَالَ «اسْتَوْصُوا بِأَصْحَابِي خَيْرًا ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَفْشُو الْكَذِبُ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَبْتَدِئُ بِالشَّهَادَةِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا وَبِالْيَمِينِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا فَمَنْ أَرَادَ مِنْكُمْ بُحْبُوحَةَ الْجَنَّةِ فَلْيَلْزَمِ الْجَمَاعَةَ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَعَ الْوَاحِدِ وَهُوَ مِنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ أَبْعَدُ وَلَا يَخْلُوَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِامْرَأَةٍ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ثَالِثُهُمَا وَمَنْ سَرَّتْهُ حَسَنَتُهُ وَسَاءَتْهُ سَيِّئَتُهُ فَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ»

✧ Umar b. al-Khattab delivered a sermon at al-Jabiyah and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us as I stand among you and said: Treat my Companions well, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then lying will spread, until a man will offer testimony before he is asked for it, and will swear an oath before he is asked for it. Whoever among you desires the bliss of Paradise, let him adhere to the community, for Satan is with the lone individual and he is farther from two. None of you should be alone with a woman, for Satan is the third of them. Whoever is pleased by his good deeds and grieved by his evil deeds is a believer.

أفسد ابن الهاد هذا الحديث وبين عورته رواه ابن الهاد عن عبد الله بن دينار عن ابن شهاب أن عمر بن الخطاب قال قام فينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهذا هو الصحيح
machine translationIbn al-Hād corrupted this hadith and exposed its flaw. Ibn al-Hād narrated it from ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār, from Ibn Shihāb, that ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us." And this is the correct version (ṣaḥīḥ).
