✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day from al-'Aliyah until he passed by the mosque of Banu Mu'awiyah, entered it, prayed two rak'ahs, and we prayed with him. Then he supplicated his Lord for a long time and then turned to us and said, "I asked my Lord not to destroy my ummah by famine, and He granted me that. I asked Him not to make their might turn against themselves, but He withheld that from me."
