✧ Abdul Rahman ibn Auf complained to the Messenger of Allah PBUH about the harm caused by Khalid ibn Walid to a man from the people of Badr. The Messenger of Allah PBUH said, "O Khalid, why do you harm a man from the people of Badr? If you were to spend the equivalent of Uhud in gold, you would not be able to attain his status." Khalid replied, "O Messenger of Allah, they attack me and I respond to them." The Messenger of Allah PBUH said, "Do not harm Khalid, for he is a sword from the swords of Allah whom Allah sends upon the disbelievers."
