أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ وَرَوْحٌ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفُ بْنُ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ
أَنَّ صُهَيْبًا حِينَ أَرَادَ الْهِجْرَةَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ لَهُ كُفَّارُ قُرَيْشٍ أَتَيْتَنَا صُعْلُوكًا فَكَثُرَ مَالُكَ عِنْدَنَا وَبَلَغْتَ مَا بَلَغْتَ ثُمَّ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ بِنَفْسِكَ وَمَالِكَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَكُونُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَعْطَيْتُكُمْ مَالِي أَتُخَلُّونَ سَبِيلِي؟ فَقَالُوا نَعَمْ فَقَالَ أُشْهِدُكُمْ أَنِّي قَدْ جَعَلْتُ لَهُمْ مَالِي فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «رَبِحَ صُهَيْبٌ رَبِحَ صُهَيْبٌ»
