أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«بَيْنَا أَنَا أَدُورُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ قَارِئٍ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ فَقَالُوا حَارِثَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ كَذَلِكَ الْبِرُّ» قَالَ «وَكَانَ أَبَرَّ النَّاسِ بِأُمِّهِ»

✧ “While I was walking around in Paradise, I heard the voice of a reciter. I said: ‘Who is this?’ They said: ‘Harithah b. al-Nuʿman. Thus is piety.’” He said: “He was the most dutiful of people to his mother.”
