✧ "I have never seen anyone whose speech and manner of speaking more closely resembled Rasulillah ﷺ than Fatimah. When she entered upon him, he would stand for her, kiss her, welcome her, take her hand, and seat her in his place. When he entered upon her, she would stand for him, kiss him, and take his hand. She entered upon him during the illness in which he died, and he confided something to her, so she wept. Then he confided something to her, so she laughed. I said, 'I used to think that this woman had some superiority over other people, but now she is just a woman among them: one moment she weeps and the next she laughs.' When Rasulillah ﷺ died, I asked her about that, and she said, 'He confided to me that he was going to die, so I wept. Then he confided to me and told me that I would be the first of his family to join him, so I laughed.'"
