أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
«أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ بَعَثَتْ بِقِنَاعٍ فِيهِ رُطَبٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ» فَجَعَلَ يَقْبِضُ الْقَبْضَةَ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْبِضُ الْقَبْضَةَ فَيَبْعَثُ بِهَا إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهَا وَإِنَّهُ لَيَشْتَهِيهِ « فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَشْتَهِيهِ

✧ Umm Sulaym sent a basket of fresh dates to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would take a handful and send it to one of his wives, then take a handful and send it to another of his wives, then send it, while he desired it. He did that more than once, while he desired it.
