✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during his illness, 'I wish some of my companions were with me.' She said, we said, 'O Messenger of Allah, shall we call Abu Bakr for you?' He remained silent. We said, 'Umar?' He remained silent. We said, 'Ali?' He remained silent. We said, 'Uthman?' He said, 'Yes.' She said, so we sent for Uthman. She said, the Prophet ﷺ began to speak to him, and his face changed. Qays said: Abu Sahla told me that Uthman said on the Day of the House, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a covenant with me, and I am patient with it.' Qays said: they used to think that that was the day.
