أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ الْعِجْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ خُلَيْدٍ الْعَصَرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ
«مَا طَلَعَتْ شَمْسٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا وَبِجَنْبَتَيْهَا مَلَكَانِ يُنَادِيَانِ اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَنْفَقَ فَأَعْقِبْهُ خَلَفًا وَمَنْ أَمْسَكَ فَأَعْقِبْهُ تَلَفًا»

✧ The sun has never risen except with two angels at its sides calling out: 'O Allah, whoever spends, give him a successor; whoever withholds, give him ruin.'
