أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«سَيَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ زَمَانٌ يَحْسُرُ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَيُقْتَلُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ» قَالَ «يَا بُنَيَّ إِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهُ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِمَّنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَيْهِ»

✧ “A time will come upon you when the Euphrates will recede from a mountain of gold, and people will fight over it. Of every hundred, ninety-nine will be killed.” He said, “O my son, if you witness that, do not be among those who fight over it.”
