أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُصْعَبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِذَا هَلَكَ كِسْرَى فَلَا كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا وَإِذَا هَلَكَ قَيْصَرُ فَلَا قَيْصَرُ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا وَأَيْمُ اللَّهِ لَتُنْفَقَنَّ كُنُوزُهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ»

✧ “When Khosrow perishes, there will be no Khosrow after him ever, and when Caesar perishes, there will be no Caesar after him ever. By Allah, their treasures will certainly be spent in the cause of Allah.”
