Tribulations and Incidents in the Ummah of the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَكْثُرَ الْمَالُ وَيَفِيضَ حَتَّى يُخْرِجَ الرَّجُلُ زَكَاةَ مَالِهِ فَلَا يَجِدُ أَحَدًا يَقْبَلُهَا مِنْهُ»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  3. Yaʿqūb b. ʿAbd al-Raḥman
  4. Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ

  7. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ "The Hour will not come until wealth becomes abundant and overflows, so much so that a man will bring out the zakat of his wealth and find no one to accept it from him."
