✧ The illness of the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَصْفَهَانِيُّ بِالْكَرْخِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ الْقَطَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرُ بْنُ كِدَامٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ مِيرَاثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ «تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ مِيرَاثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا تَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ دِينَارًا وَلَا دِرْهَمًا وَلَا شَاةً وَلَا بَعِيرًا وَلَا أَوْصَى بِشَيْءٍ»

✧ I asked A'isha about the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and she said: You ask me about the inheritance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left neither a dinar nor a dirham, nor a sheep nor a camel, and he made no bequest of anything.
