✧ The people became thirsty on the day of al-Hudaybiyah while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a small water-skin in front of him from which he performed ablution. When the people rushed toward him, he said, 'What is the matter with you?' They said, 'We have nothing to perform ablution with or drink except what is in front of you.' He said, 'He placed his hands in the water-skin and supplicated as Allah willed him to supplicate.' He said, 'The water began to gush from between his fingers ﷺ like springs.' He said, 'We drank and performed ablution.' He said, 'I said to Jabir, "How many were you?" He said, "We were fifteen hundred, and had we been a hundred thousand it would have sufficed us."'
