✧ I saw myself with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when the afternoon prayer was due, and we had no water except a small leftover. It was put in a vessel and brought to the Prophet ﷺ. He inserted his hand and spread his fingers, and said, "Come to ablution and blessing from Allah." He said: I saw water bursting from between his fingers ﷺ. People performed ablution and drank. I did not fail to take as much as I could into my belly, knowing it was a blessing. He said: I said to Jabir, "How many were you that day?" He said, "One thousand four hundred."
