✧ "When the chapter {Perished be the hands of Abu Lahab} was revealed, the wife of Abu Lahab came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ with Abu Bakr. When Abu Bakr saw her, he said, "O Messenger of Allah, she is a reprehensible woman, and I fear that she may harm you. If you allow me, I will leave." The Prophet replied, "She will not see me." So she came and said to Abu Bakr, "Your companion insults me." Abu Bakr said, "No, he does not speak poetry." She said, "You are known to be his supporter." Then she left. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, why did you not move away?" He replied, "No, for an angel has been shielding me from her with his wings."
