أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ وَكُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى حَتَّى ذَهَبَتْ فِلْقَةٌ خَلْفَ الْجَبَلِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «اشْهَدُوا»

Translation

Chain of narrators

  3. Abū Muʿāwiyah
  4. al-Aʿmash
  5. Ibrāhīm
  6. Abū Maʿmar
  7. ʿAbdullāh

✧ The moon split, and we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina, until a piece of it went behind the mountain. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Bear witness.'
