✧ We were talking one night with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ until we talked long into the night, then we returned to our homes. When morning came, we went to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and he said: “The prophets were presented to me last night with their followers from their communities. A prophet would come with three of his people, a prophet would come with a band of his people, a prophet would come with a small group of his people, and a prophet would come with no one from his people until Musa b. ʿImrān came to me in a large group of the Children of Israel. When I saw them, they impressed me, and I said: O Lord, who are these? He said: This is your brother Musa b. ʿImrān. And there were ridges of Makkah which blocked the faces of men. I said: Lord, who are these? He said: Your community. Then it was said to me: Are you satisfied? I said: My Lord, I am satisfied; my Lord, I am satisfied. Then it was said to me: Indeed with these are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning.” Then ʿUkkāshah b. Miḥṣan, the brother of Banū Asad b. Khuzaymah, stood up and said: O Prophet of Allah, pray to your Lord to make me one of them. He said: “O Allah, make him one of them.” Then another man stood up and said: O Prophet of Allah, pray to your Lord to make me one of them.
