✧ The verse {that Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow} was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ upon his return from al-Hudaybiyyah. The Prophet ﷺ said, “A verse has been revealed to me that is dearer to me than everything on the face of the earth.” Then he recited it to them, and they said, “May it be pleasant and wholesome, O Prophet of Allah! Allah has made clear to you what He will do with you, but what will He do with us?” Then it was revealed to him: {that He may admit the believing men and believing women into gardens beneath which rivers flow} up to {a great attainment}.
