أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الْفَقِيرُ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَدْرَكَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي وَأُعْطِيتُ الشَّفَاعَةَ وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ يُبْعَثُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ عَامَّةً»

✧ "I was given five things no one before me was given: I was aided with awe for a month's journey; the earth was made for me a mosque and a means of purification, so any man of my community whom prayer overtakes should pray; war spoils were made lawful for me and were not lawful for anyone before me; I was given intercession; and a prophet would be sent to his people specifically, but I was sent to all people generally."
