أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ لَوْ كَانَ عِنْدِي أُحُدٌ ذَهَبًا لَأَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ لَا يَأْتِي عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ لَا أَجِدُ مَنْ يَتَقَبَّلَهُ مِنِّي لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ عَلَيَّ»

✧ By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, if I had Mount Uhud in gold, I would love that three nights would not pass over me while I had a dinar of it, unless I found someone to accept it from me, not anything I was keeping for a debt I owed.
