✧ "When the emigrants arrived from Makkah to Madinah, they came with nothing in their hands, while the Ansar were the people of land and property. He said: The Ansar made an agreement with them to give them half the fruits of their properties every year, and the emigrants would suffice them the labor. He said: Anas b. Malik's mother gave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ some date palms of hers, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave them to Umm Ayman, his freedwoman, the mother of Usamah b. Zayd. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished with the people of Khaybar and returned to Madinah, the emigrants returned to the Ansar the gifts they had given them of their fruits. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned to my mother her date palms and gave Umm Ayman in their place some from his own orchard."
