أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَطَبَ أُمَّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي قَدْ كَبِرْتُ وَلِي عِيَالٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ نِسَاءٍ رَكِبْنَ الْإِبِلَ نِسَاءُ قُرَيْشٍ أَحْنَاهُ عَلَى وَلَدِهِ فِي صِغَرِهِ وَأَرْعَاهُ عَلَى زَوْجٍ فِي ذَاتِ يَدِهِ وَلَمْ تَرْكَبْ مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ بَعِيرًا قَطُّ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ proposed to Umm Hāniʾ bt. Abī Ṭālib, and she said: I have grown old and I have dependents. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The best women who have ridden camels are the women of Quraysh: the most tender to her child in his infancy and the most attentive to a husband in what his hand possesses. And Maryam bt. ʿImrān never rode a camel at all.
