أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ عَنْ رُفَيْعٍ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَتَى عَلَى وَادِي الْأَزْرَقِ فَقَالَ «كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى مُوسَى مُنْهَبِطًا وَلَهُ جُؤَارٌ إِلَى رَبِّهِ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ» وَمَرَّ عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذِهِ؟ » قِيلَ ثَنِيَّةُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ «كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى مُوسَى يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ خِطَامُهَا مِنْ لِيفٍ وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the valley of al-Azraq and said: "It is as if I can see Moses descending, raising his voice in supplication to his Lord with the talbiyah." And he passed by a mountain pass and said: "What is this?" It was said: "Such-and-such a pass." He said: "It is as if I can see Moses throwing stones at the jamrah on a red camel, its halter of palm fiber, and upon him a woolen cloak."
