أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«رَحِمَ اللَّهُ يُوسُفَ لَوْلَا الْكَلِمَةُ الَّتِي قَالَهَا اذْكُرْنِي عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ مَا لَبِثَ فِي السِّجْنِ مَا لَبِثَ وَرَحِمَ اللَّهُ لُوطًا إِنْ كَانَ لَيَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ لَوْ أَنَّ لِيَ بِكُمْ قُوَّةً أَوْ آوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ قَالَ فَمَا بَعَثَ اللَّهُ نَبِيًّا بَعْدَهُ إِلَّا فِي ثَرْوَةٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ»

✧ "May Allah have mercy on Joseph. Were it not for the word he said, 'Mention me to your lord,' he would not have remained in prison as long as he did. And may Allah have mercy on Lot. He would indeed seek shelter in a strong support when he said to his people, 'If only I had strength against you or could seek shelter in a strong support.'" He said: "And Allah sent no prophet after him except in a numerous clan of his people."
