✧ The creation of one of you is gathered in his mother's womb for forty days and forty nights, then he becomes a clot for the like of that, then he becomes a lump for the like of that. Then Allah sends to him an angel and commands him with four words: he says, 'Write his deed, his term, his provision, and whether he is wretched or blessed.' And a man may perform the deeds of the people of Paradise until there is only a cubit between him and Paradise, then the decree that preceded overtakes him, and he is sealed with the deeds of the people of the Fire. And a man may perform the deeds of the people of the Fire until there is only a cubit between him and it, then the decree that preceded overtakes him, and he performs the deeds of the people of Paradise, and he enters Paradise."
