أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ بْنُ هِلَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ عَطَسَ فَأَلْهَمَهُ رَبُّهُ أَنْ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَبُّهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ فَلِذَلِكَ سَبَقَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ غَضَبَهُ»

✧ "When Allah created Adam, he sneezed, and his Lord inspired him to say, 'Praise be to Allah.' His Lord said to him, 'May Allah have mercy on you.' Therefore, His mercy preceded His wrath."
