أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَدِّي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عِيسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«إِنَّ لِلَّهَ مِائَةَ رَحْمَةٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهَا رَحْمَةً وَاحِدَةً بَيْنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وَالْبَهَائِمِ فَبِهَا يَتَعَاطَفُونَ وَبِهَا يَتَرَاحَمُونَ وَبِهَا تَعْطِفُ الْوحُوشُ عَلَى أَوْلَادِهَا وَأَخَّرَ تِسْعًا وَتِسْعِينَ رَحْمَةً يَرْحَمُ بِهَا عِبَادَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

✧ “Verily, Allah has one hundred mercies. He sent down from them one mercy among the jinn, humans, and beasts. By it they show mutual affection and by it they show mutual compassion, and by it wild beasts show compassion to their young. He deferred ninety-nine mercies with which He will show mercy to His servants on the Day of Resurrection.”
