أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ قَدْ عَضَّ يَدَ رَجُلٍ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْهُ فَسَقَطَتْ ثَنِيَّتَا الَّذِي عَضَّهُ قَالَ فَأَبْطَلَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَقْضِمَهُ كَمَا يَقْضَمُ الْفَحْلُ؟ »

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ who had bitten another man's hand and pulled his hand away from him, and the two front teeth of the one who bit him fell out. He said: The Prophet ﷺ invalidated it and said: "Did you want to bite him as a stallion bites?"
