✧ While the Prophet ﷺ was sitting among the people, a man came to him asking permission to speak with him privately. He spoke privately with him about killing a man from the hypocrites. The Prophet ﷺ raised his voice with his words and said: "Does he not testify that there is no god but Allah?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, but his testimony is nothing." He said: "Does he not testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, but his testimony is nothing." He said: "Does he not pray?" He said: "Yes, but his prayer is nothing." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Those are the ones I was forbidden from."
