أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْجَنَدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زِيَادٍ اللَّحْجِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُرَّةَ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ

«مَنْ جَلَسَ فِي مَجْلِسٍ كَثُرَ فِيهِ لَغَطُهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا كَانَ فِي مَجْلِسِهِ ذَلِكَ»

✧ Whoever sits in a gathering in which there is much noise and then says before he stands: 'Glory be to You, O Allah, our Lord, and with Your praise. There is no deity except You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You,' except that he is forgiven for what occurred in that gathering of his.
